Job description / Role
My client, a global Telecoms Service Provider is currently looking for an experienced Packet Core engineer with strong Cisco ASR5K / ASR5500 knowledge to join their team in Kuwait.
In addition to the required skills below, you MUST be a fluent English and Arabic speaker.
Requirements
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of ASR5K / ASR5500 and Cisco Packet Core
- Thorough understanding of Mobile networks (SGW/PGW/GGSN & Deep Packet Inspection)
- Good knowledge in SIP, RTP, diameter, GTP and DNS
- Architecture knowledge around SP-Wifi & 3G/4G offload
- Good Server Management experience
- 7-10 years of Mobile Technology experience and Field Service Experience
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware issues on various platforms
- Excellent client facing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent familiarity with wireless networking technologies
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic
- Routing and Switching in the Service Provider Arena to include MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, QOS and Service Provider Multicast Technologies
