Photographer and Graphic Designer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a photographer with experience in graphic design and preferred experience in the fields of fashion and retail to join our growing team at Steps. The ideal candidate will have experience of both product and people photography for both online and offline marketing purposes. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person with great leadership qualities to head the creation of our new photography department.

Duties:
- Development and implementation of the brand strategy.
- Working closely with the company’s buyers and designers; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with the appropriate photography and design tools.
- Planning, developing and implementing the photoshoots for new and existing products.
- Planning and overseeing the company’s photography budget.
- Assisting in the execution of a social media strategy.
- Optimising company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content and to increase brand awareness.
- Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

Requirements

- Proven track record of success in photography and graphic design roles.
- Confident, driven and dynamic person.
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
- Adequate knowledge of photoshop and illustrator.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management/organisational skills.
