Plant Manager (Asphalt / Concrete / Workshop) - Kuwait

Client is a main contractor who specialise in the construction of heavy civils / infrastructure projects.

They have a very large portfolio of work currently live in Kuwait, and with this comes large workshops / concrete plants / asphalt plants which they have in the area.

They are looking for a Workshop Manager / Plant Manager to oversee each of these operations; Conrcete / Asphalt plants and a large workshop which manages all of their heavy equipment, as well as company vehicles (200 + units)

This person will be responsible for the tracking, reporting and cost control side of things all related to these specific operations. Therefore they must possess a strong financial aptitude and be able to manage P&L effectively.

It's also important that the person they bring on board is a confident, self starter who has experience of managing others.

This is a senior position for them, and a key position in the business.

Requirements

- Relevant Degree / Higher Diploma
- Western candidate for this role (clients request)
- MUST have experience of managing large Concrete / Asphalt plants
- Must have managed a large work force in current / previous role
- Financial / Commercial aptitude must be excellent
- SAP experience is ESSENTIAL
- Strong character who is a self starter and thinks on his feet.

They are looking for someone for a long term appointment who can work along side the Plant Director and ensure that the operations run smoothly.
