Production Manager

Job description / Role

• Manage daily printing and packaging operations, including scheduling and output planning
• Oversee press equipment operations (offset, digital, flexographic, etc.)
• Ensure high standards of print quality, color accuracy, and consistency
• Coordinate with prepress, finishing, and packaging departments to ensure workflow alignment
• Monitor production efficiency, minimize downtime, and troubleshoot press-related issues
• Ensure proper use and inventory control of materials such as ink, paper, and plates
• Utilize production software and reporting tools to track KPIs, job performance, and cost control
• Lead and supervise press operators and production staff, including training and performance reviews
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and quality standards on the production floor
• Work closely with senior management on continuous improvement initiatives and production planning

• Proven experience in press or printing production management
• Strong knowledge of printing processes and machinery (offset, digital, flexo, etc.)
• Proficiency in production scheduling, workflow optimization, and quality control
• Familiarity with production or ERP software (e.g., MIS systems) and reporting tools
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
