We are now seeking an exceptional Project Director to join our award winning team based within our Kuwait Office.

This critical role will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of project teams, consultants and contractors during the planning, development and delivery phases of KEO's iconic projects. The successful candidate will ensure leadership at all times for the project delivery strategy, planning, administration, cost and design management with absolute priority being the delivery of the highest quality consultancy service.

Requirements

This is a senior position and at peak the Project Director will be runnng a team of over 200 on a complex, multi-disiplinary construction project. This is a highly visible project and you will need to show evidence of completing similar projects to time, budget and quality milestones. You will likely have a background covering major building projects but also with an understanding of complex infrastructure components.
The project will be built alongside the existing facility which will stay live and be handed over in phases. Experience in these types of complex builds is essential.


Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

• Significant experience in Project Management and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects requiring interface and coordination between engineering, architecture, urban planning and client groups.
• Proven ability in leading and managing a team on large infrastructure and building projects and ensuring design deliverables achieve time, quality and budgetary targets.
• Significant knowledge and proven leadership experience gained from an engineering consultancy background, having managed construction projects along with a thorough knowledge of project management processes and systems.
• Capability in the preparation of contract and tender documents for the specific projects identified as outcomes of the master planning process and overseeing the implementation of the project programme on behalf of the Client.
• Excellent working knowledge of construction contracts such as FIDIC red and yellow book and contract administration.
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships.


To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 25 years career experience with a relevant Engineering degree.
Chartered status and / or Professional Memberships will be viewed favourably.
