Job description / Role
We are looking for a an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work for an PMC Contractor on Oil & Gas projects in Kuwait.
Client profile:
Leading provider of asset support to the oil and gas industry.
They service more than 200 facilities each day in almost a dozen of the key oil and gas industry locations worldwide, including the Caspian Sea and South-East Asia as well as the UK North Sea.
Job Role:
Preparation of Bill of Quantity
Preparation of Invoices for Shop Fabricated items for unit rate Contracts
Preparation of Budgets, detailed Cost Plans and Performing Cost Control
Undertaking Cost Analysis for PMC Works and assisting in establishing a client's requirements for invoicing
Preparing Tender and Contract documents, including Bill of Quantities
Preparing and analyzing costing for Tenders
Providing advice on Contractual Claims
Valuing Completed work and arranging payments to sub-contractors
Developing knowledge relevant to Contract Conditions and their applications
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering
Must have 10 years experience 5 of which must be in Oil & Gas projects
Middle East experience preferred
Must be well versed in FIDIC
Must speak Fluent English
