Security & Safety Supervisor

What you will be doing:

1. ensure the safety of Guests, Team Members and Hotel property through a professional and efficient daily operation.
2. Insure the confidentiality of safety and security information.
3. The service must be sincere, warm and with enthusiastic ensuring that all guests have quality security and safety systems available to them
4. Sets an example regarding punctuality, appearance, courtesy, performance, attitude, leadership, guest relationship, observance of the house rules, loyalty to Management and inter-department cooperation
5. Accept and promote feedback with the team and anticipate the team & guest's needs.
6. Being entrepreneurial and thinking beyond the boundaries.
7. Develop fire, emergency & evacuation guidelines, train team members on the guidelines and take ownership for regular fire drills
8. Show full cooperation and respect both within the team and other departments
9. Handles complaints effectively and ensure issues are followed up with both internal and external guests
10. Training of Security employees in all regulations and factors affecting the operations of the Hotel e.g. Fire prevention and safety procedures, basic firefighting, preservation of crime scene and evidence, actions, duties and powers where crime is detected, action in crisis situations and report writing.
11. Ensure Fire Safety, Emergency and Evacuation handbooks and manuals are up to date and available to the team
12. Ensure that all Lost & Found items are registered, stored and handled in accordance with the policy.
13. Ensure the security team log and handle all incidents, guest complaints or queries confidently and professionally.
14. Coach and counsel, all security officers to ensure they are developed professionally.
15. Supervise the daily operations of the security team.
16. Liaises with local law enforcement authorities and Fire & Safety officials as required, maintaining good relations.
17. Assume responsibility for the CCTV room, ensuring that all equipment is working and Team Members are trained to handle the responsibility of monitoring cameras as required.
18. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
19. Obtain help by sounding alarms
20. Control traffic by directing drivers
21. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
22. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

1. High education is required
2. Excellent Communication Skills Written and Verbal
3. Able to follow complex instructions & manage Multiple Tasks
4. Interpersonal skills
5. Must have the Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure
6. Proven experience as security officer or guard
7. Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
8. Familiarity with report writing
9. Excellent surveillance and observation skills
10. Trained in First Aid/CRP
11. Individual is high energy individual with a positive attitude is a must.
12. Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
13. Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing management and market requirement.
