Section Engineer (Civil) - Kuwait
The Section Engineer (Civil), will be responsible to the Resident Engineer for advice and recommendations on all matters related to the Civil/Utilities construction involved in the project.
The Civil Engineer, will be responsible to the Resident Engineer for advice and recommendations on all matters related to the civil engineering items involved in the project.
His responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all civil works are executed according to the project standards
- Review and recommendation for approval of the Contractors plans for all civil activities
- Report and document any incidents that occur on site with any civil engineering activities and notify the Resident Engineer immediately
- Enforce performance of the work in strict accordance with the approved Contractor’s Plan
- Site Monitoring wherein the civil activities, meetings, reviews, violations, rectification measures, and incident reports are included in the Monthly Progress Report
Requirements
- Expert of all aspects of Highway construction.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 12 years post graduate experience site supervision and construction management in major highway projects.
- Good communication skills.
