Senior Estimation Engineer

Job description / Role

- Lead Project Cost Estimation: Direct the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex, high-value projects to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Supervise and Mentor Junior Estimators: Guide and review the work of junior estimators, ensuring accuracy and consistency in project estimates.
- Enhance Estimation Processes: Develop and refine standardized processes, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy within the estimation team.
- Conduct In-Depth Cost Analysis: Analyze costs in detail, identifying potential savings and optimizing budgets for various project phases.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with project management, procurement, finance, and engineering teams to align estimates with project goals and strategic objectives.
- Manage Risk in Estimates: Assess project risks and include contingency costs within estimates to protect project budgets.
- Present to Stakeholders: Present and justify cost estimates and bid proposals to clients, management, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed on industry pricing and market trends to keep estimates competitive and accurate.
- General Tasks: Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Sr. Estimation Engineer & Estimation Manager.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
- Preferred certifications related software application (CCS)/risk assessment related certifications
- 10 years of comprehensive working experience in Estimation in Construction Company.

Salary:
USD 3,000 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
