We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to join our award winning team based within our Kuwait Office.
This critical role will act as custodian of KEO’s financial records, monitoring and reporting on measures of financial performance with the focus on drivingcontinuous improvement. The role will also ensure that all financial functions operate to high standards of transactional efficiency and accuracy, adhering to financial policy and controls.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Manage the firm’s financial and accounting functions inclusive of cash management, preparation of financial statements, job cost accounting, and contract administration.
• Responsibility for corporate level reporting and analysis, audits and accounting for tax, all aspects of maintenance of financial records, monthly close cycle inclusive of WIP tracking, revenue recognition.
• Producing relevant statutory accounting information in liaison with group requirements and coordinating audits with all offices.
• Accounting for tax in all areas of the business inclusive of consumption taxes (eg. VAT); develop and implement tax strategy for the region with the CFO.
• Maintain relationships and communication with clients and vendors related to financial matters; supervise Accounts Payable and perform A/P duties as necessary; supervise AR receipt accounting ensuring allocations and FX variations are complete and accurate.
• Monitor the firm’s cash position on a daily and monthly basis, maintain internal controls and monitor and regulate the firm’s purchases.
• Modify and implement MIS reporting systems as required.
• Ensure the existence of adequate control mechanisms for the accounting function through efficient and effective financial administrative procedures to satisfy financial legislation and guidelines and internal control requirements.
• Analyze existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies and service Monitor and review the effectiveness of various financial reporting internal controls, eg. General ledger reconciliations and other data integrity checks and initiateinvestigative and follow up action as required.

Requirements
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision the successful applicant will bring a minimum of 5 years’ career experience in an equivalent role partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Demonstrated application of contemporary financial and budget management, accounting standards and concepts in the commercial sector, ideally with audit background is required.
Candidates whom possess similar industry experience as well as knowledge working with banks regarding bonds, guarantees and cash management will be viewed favourably.
