Job description / Role
Leading eGOv cloud solutions company is looking to hire GIS Program Manager to oversee a large-scale GIS implementation in Kuwait.This role is responsible in overseeing an enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) in a multi-departmental inter-agency environment.
You will set up scope and ensure a cost-effective geospatial technology strategy. You will direct and supervise the GIS team and coordinate work programs, projects, user requirements, and system.
You will establish common goals, program objectives, project priorities, operational policies and strategic plans.
Requirements
- University Degree, preferably with PMP Certification.
Skill Requirement:
- 10 years’ project management experience of overseeing large-scale GIS Program with at least 20M USD budget.
- Expertise in Geographic Information System standards, practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in preparing GIS tender documents and tender analysis reports
- Has proven success in managing projects requiring the application of planning, process initiation, communication, control, leadership, resource and personnel management, monitoring, decision making and closing skills, principles, tools and techniques
- Solid communication skills (both verbal and written), attention to detail, proven track record of working with stakeholders, core PM & Development Team and has experience in driving consensus across teams and organizations
