Senior Internal Auditor / Assistant Manager (Investment Firm)

• Prepare the overall department strategy and formulate business plans and budget for the Internal Audit function in line with the strategy to ensure effective performance and achievement of business objectives.
• Finalize the yearly audit plan meant to audit various functional processes and ensure adequate resources are obtained to manage the plan effectively.
• Define and finalize performance and quality indicators for business processes in conjunction with Division personnel, with a special focus on core functions.
• Develop and maintain Internal Audit Policies & Procedures and Internal Audit Charter.
• Review internal controls established for various processes to minimize risk exposure and make recommendations to enhance the quality of controls.
• Perform periodic audits as per approved audit plan.

Requirements

• Min 3-7 years Audit experience with at least 2 years within Banking or Financial Services/Investments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and ideally a Masters or FRM, CIA or CPA Certifications.
• Team Player with an eye for detail.
• Any Nationality based in Kuwait, Arabic not required.
• Must have Fluent English language skills and be a highly motivated individual.
