Job description / Role
• Daily management of a team of Estimators
• Actively participate in the management of various tenders
• Evaluate feasibility of tenders as part of the tender process
• Oversee bid submission for tenders including presenting bid responses to Clients
• Closely monitor the results of the tenders and update them in the tender register
• Monitor the progress and work performed by Estimators to ensure prescribed deadlines are met
• Provide guidelines and instructions to quantity surveyors to verify or to prepare bill of quantities
• Verify the Bill of Quantities against specifications and contract documents
• Prepare project budgets
• Maintain good client relationships
• Continuously seeks opportunities to improve estimating practices
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and additional studies relevant to the field of work essential
• RICS certified (Preferable but not compulsory)
• Minimum 3 years experience as a lead or managing estimator with expertise in Civils and Infrastructure bids
• Proficiency with CCS software
• Fluency in English & Arabic advantageous
