Senior Planner

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with leading fashion and lifestyle brand in the Middle East looking for a Senior Planner to join their team in Kuwait. We are ideally looking for someone with a solid relevant experience in demand planning and forecasting in the GCC region.

As a Senior Planner, you will:

- Own annual calendar, assortment, and options plans; implement seasonal merchandise and financial planning strategies
- Identify product categories for designing and production and communicate them to stakeholders and buying teams
- Perform sales, events, and promotions analysis from different channels to identify key metrics
- Collaborate with key territory managers and teams to identify and address stock issues
- Monitor both supply and demand to enhance the supply/demand equilibrium
- Keep abreast with latest trends / customer behavior and communicate them with key internal teams

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within fashion / lifestyle / private label sector
- Proven experience in forecasting and merchandise financial & demand planning
- Good understanding of the commercial, purchasing and production functions
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Middle East experience is required
