Shift Manager (Receiving) - CPF - Kuwait

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual, with experience in the receiving in food manufacturing industry, who will ensure that the most effective receiving process is in place and according to the production plan whilst meeting the production schedule

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

- To ensure that the operation complies with all legislative and ethical standards regarding health & safety, food safety and staff management. To drive the optimum compliance with all audits including HACCP, GMP, H&S etc to reach the highest standards
- Guarantee that KPIs are achieved by optimum planning; supply of raw and packaging materials are available, efficiently plan operation whilst food safety, quality, and people's morale are taken into consideration
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained throughout the receiving process including the correct use of protective equipment Operating internal Material Replenishment Planning system to generate worksheets and raw material ordering requirements
- Manage inventory levels and flow of inventory from vendors to the warehouse and / or to the Production Center
- Supervise the ordering process to ensure the practices are in line with companies Policies and Procedures

Requirements

- At the end of the Period, ensure that all transactions are correctly posted ensuring the accuracy of the MIS reports.
- Lead the Stock take and Cycle Count process, monitor and control the Stock Variances
- Support innovation and product development both NPD and EPD by timely sourcing the right raw materials
- Manage teams and ensure individual people development and guidance, ensure proper training for team members
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Ensure that clean-as-you-go and housekeeping practices are maintained by team members.
- Managerial / Supervisory experience is essential.
