Job description:

Instruct students on subjects like history and economics, fostering critical thinking and civic awareness. Plan lessons, deliver engaging lectures, assess student progress, and create a positive learning environment. Collaborate with other educators, communicate with parents, and participate in school activities.

Deliver lessons on a variety of social studies topics, including history, geography, civics, and economics. Utilize diverse teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, to engage students and promote critical thinking.

Assess student learning through various methods like quizzes, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Establish and maintain a positive and productive learning environment, manage student behavior, and address individual needs.

Work with other teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success and address any concerns. Stay current with best practices in social studies education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Keep parents informed about student progress and address any concerns or questions. Participate in school-wide events, clubs, or other activities.
