Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Profile:

Responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain processes and vendor management across the category thereby reducing the food cost of brands. Monitor and influence on cost saving opportunities across categories

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

A Supply Chain resource has the critical role to identify and attempt to resolve any threats to key Supply Chain objectives (Cost, Service, Availability and Quality), and escalate issues early to live management so that good communication of risks to the service can be achieved
Supply planning

- Responsible for various planning processes related with supply planning, ensuring higher availability for the region distribution centres and ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained

- Produces periodic supplier plan and completing detailed analysis on information gathered from the supplier base and communicating effectively across through the appropriate channels
- Develop detailed supply plan (e.g. pipeline orders, inventory levels, items classification/standardization etc) while considering demand plan

- Responsible of managing regional supply plan metrics, and regular stock meetings with operational leaders. Also creates constrained /unconstrained Supply plan profile using available constrained /unconstrained demand

- Generates Pipeline forecast and shares with Suppliers on scheduled basis

- Ensure Distribution partners are providing the expected service levels and provide supports where needed

- Ensure workflow with shipping and compliance teams for international shipments is processing smoothly and support on challenges and issues
- Ensure Inventory status is healthy and kept at minimal in terms of stock write off, stock on hold

Supplier Performance management

- Develop strong and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers that help drive business and continuously identify opportunities for future business development
- Ensure all products are being sourced as per agreed brand APL
- Ensure timely feedback provided to suppliers on any deviations from agreed SLA's
- Ensure delivery accuracy and completeness of store orders and seek resolutions with suppliers on delivery and price discrepancies
- Ensure all pricing provided by suppliers is in line with contract/agreement pricing and any deviations are investigated before presented for approval
- Continuously liaise with local suppliers keeping them informed of brand consumption changes
- Work on adhoc projects across teams to ensure project results are achieved
- Periodic analysis of supplies prioritized by core and large volume suppliers
- Coach, develop category officers to ensure category details and plans are shared and worked on

Requirements

Knowledge and Qualifications:

- Educated to graduate High School level with good systems knowledge. MS Office knowledge is a must

Experience:

- Must have 5+ years' experience in the region in a food related business and planning

- Minimum B.S graduation degree

- Comprehensive understanding of MS Office and industry standard purchase order software platforms

- Experience in managing / interaction with multiple suppliers across markets

- Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting on supply chain data and take a necessary action wherever needed

Skills:

- Ability to think logically and take decisions based on situational assessments
- Strong negotiating skills

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Managing & prioritizing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills. Capable of facilitating discussion with department heads and brand management teams
- A thorough team player capable of leading regional projects
