We are now seeking an exceptional Sustainability Project Consultant to join our award winning team based within our Kuwait Office.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:
• Spearheading LEED & GSAS Certifications during design and delivery.
• Supporting clients to improve their buildings' sustainability performance under LEED for existing buildings on energy by modelling and recommendations.
• Working directly on design deliverables including technical reports and supporting calculations.
• Ensuring existing quality control, quality assurance, submittal protocols and document flow procedures are followed and successfully implemented.
• Attending client meetings in Kuwait on behalf of the wider Sustainability team.
• Providing LEED & GSAS certification reviews and support clients, including but not limited to, ensuring the client's sustainability and green certification goals and objectives are properly executed onsite by other consultants and contractors.
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and client teams.
• Managing and facilitating delivery efforts to client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction during and after the delivery of a scope of work and deliverables and making any requested alterations in an established timeframe.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 4 years career experience partnered with a Bachelor or Master in Engineering or Architecture or Building Services Engineering or Energy.

In addition suitably qualified candidates will possess:
• LEED AP and GSAS CGP Credentials.
• Knowledge of working on green certification calculators and uploading submissions procedures as per GBCI and GORD requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with on communications with Clients and Architects/Consultants.
• Knowledge of extracting information from AutoCAD (and preferably from BIM libraries).
• Good personality and key coworker skills.
• Ability to work independently is essential.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Candidates with any of the following skills and with working knowledge of will be given preference:
• (A) Working experience with ASHRAE 90.1 and ASHRAE 62.1 calculations and modelling
• (B) IES experience
• (C) Energy Auditing and
• (D) External Thermal Comfort Modelling
