TPE Supply Technician

Work in Kuwait is contingent upon the applicant's ability to obtain a work permit from the State of Kuwait, which is requested on the applicant's behalf by their employer. Effective January 1, 2021, the Kuwait Public Authority of Manpower issued new work permit regulations, informing contractors that it will not issue a work permit to any individual who is fifty-nine (59) years or older and holds a high school grade certificate or less. A two-year college degree or higher is required for all candidates fifty-nine (59) years or older. See Administrative Decision No. (520) of 2020 AD - Amendment to the Administrative Decision No. (552) of 2018 on Issuing the Work Permit Regulations.

Purpose: Under close supervision this position assists with maintaining property accountability utilizing GCSS-Army.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains supply accountability records.
2. Conducts Change of Command Inventory briefings.
3. Maintains files in accordance with Army Records Information Management System.
4. Researches and resolves property book and/or system-related discrepancies.
5. Duties may vary contingent on the assigned department.
6. Ensure strict compliance with safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
7. Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
8. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the Quality Management System.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
- 4 years of Property Book/ supply experience required
- GCSS-Army experience required
- US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of inventory management required.
- Knowledge of U.S. Army inventory management accounting systems.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels (to include multinational staff, superiors and ranking military officers).
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities to accommodate a demanding workload.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook applications is required.

Certification & License:
- GCSS-Army certification required
- Secret Security Clearance required
- Driver's license required

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
