Vendor Relationship Manager

Alshaya

Kuwait

Ref: GP435-4426

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Alshaya is a diverse business - with a store and restaurant network of over 3000 units and head office functions spanning finance, HR, property, IT and more working across multiple MENA markets. This fast-paced and diverse business environment provides unique challenges. In addition to this is the continued expansion of the business and the need for divisions such as IT to change, develop and stay ahead to better serve both our customers and our internal stakeholders.

Our eGroup Division has put in place a multi-year business and IT transformation framework and is looking for an experienced Vendor Relationship Manager to ensure the effective performance management and cost control of all IT product and services vendors during this period of change.

Demonstrable exposure managing large, global IT vendors (eg Microsoft and Oracle) is essential, as is previous experience in interpreting and negotiating contracts. Whilst experience in the retail industry is not mandatory it would be preferred, as would experience in working with distributed and offshore IT organisations. To work across our complex business we require candidates who are used to working within matrix structures in international organisations.

If you are looking to bring your in-depth market knowledge of IT products and services and current trends to a business that is actively driving change then a move to the region's leading retail franchise business could offer you a unique and diverse challenge.

About us... M.H. Alshaya Co. is a leading international franchise operator for over 70 of the world's most recognised retail brands including Starbucks, H&M, Mothercare, Debenhams, American Eagle Outfitters, P.F.
