Job description / Role
VP/SVP/EVP Asset Allocator – Investment Advisory – Kuwait
Role:
Seeking an experienced International Equities Leader who can step up our Clients active role in Asset Allocation; according to Client needs. 75% of the role will be in Asset Allocation; 25% Sales related developing new business with Clients. You will also be responsible for actively influencing/identifying suitable Investment Products. Develop Asset Allocation capabilities within the GCC by helping originate Portfolio Management mandates from Clients seeking exposure to International Equities; and manage/execute Strategy for such Clients’ Portfolios. Establish close contacts with Clients and manage all aspects related to the Client’s Investment needs. Increase AUMs from Clients and establish steady and growing fee-based revenues.
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensure Revenue and Profit targets on International Equities business are achieved
• Develop Asset Allocation Business Strategy for revenue generation and orders execution on behalf of the Clients.
• Performs a primary role in the selection, the analysis and the implementation of Investment Opportunities in the Public/Listed Equities in International Equities.
• Serves as a primary contact for Strategic Partners, Co-Investors, Brokers and other Service Providers for International Equities.
• Ensure that transaction execution is of the highest standards of governance and in full compliance of CMA Regulations
• Promotes Asset Allocation in the wider community through personal efforts, business contacts, sponsorships, marketing and targeted events to ensure exposure and ultimately gain assets under management (AUM) or Product Development opportunities in line with CMA regulations.

Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and Masters/MBA. Preferably CFA Charter holder.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant International Equity and Funds experience with Regional experience and GCC Client relations.
• Excellent Arabic and English skills.
• Track record of successfully managing International Equities business
• Proven track record of solid investment performance (absolute and vs. Benchmarks) in International equities
• Strong reputation with GCC Clients and ability to help attract AUMs from existing relationships
• Ability to effectively function and coordinate with Investments Team to raise AUMs by making presentations to current & prospective Clients in the GCC
