• Establish the wallpaper business from the ground up, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Define the business model, target markets, and growth strategy.
• Source international wallpaper suppliers and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
• Manage product selection, including vinyl, non-woven, fabric, mural, and commercial wallpapers.
• Oversee inventory planning and logistics to ensure timely product availability.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for residential, commercial, and project markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and contractors.
• Prepare quotations, pricing structures, and project cost estimates.
• Plan and set up wallpaper showroom(s) to showcase product offerings.
• Coordinate marketing activities to enhance brand positioning and awareness.
• Recruit and manage wallpaper installation teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality control and effective project execution.
• Manage project execution and site coordination for all installations.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to monitor business performance.
• Monitor profitability, margins, and costs to ensure business sustainability.
• Provide regular performance reports to ownership.
• Hire, train, and manage sales, operations, and installation staff.
• Set KPIs and performance standards to drive team effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait’s labor, safety, and commercial regulations.
Requirements:
BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the wallpaper or wallcoverings industry.
• Proven experience in starting or managing a wallpaper business or division is essential.
• Strong knowledge of wallpaper materials, installation processes, and project sales.
• Experience in the GCC or Middle East region is preferred.
Skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Hands-on operational approach with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build systems and teams from the ground up.
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
