Accountant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lebanon. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the financial planning and analysis of the company.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records accurately and timely.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax documents.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in Lebanon.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
