Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose of the Role:

- To handle all receivables and distributors Debit notes, end to end process, independently. This comprise following activities

Key Responsibilities:

Receivables:

- Receive payments from customers on timely basis
- Review & reconcile the statement of accounts for all Customers
- Handle independently all queries raised by customers
- Coordinate with HUB and all other stakeholders to issue debit notes/Credit notes to customers
- Review recoverable account on regular basis and ensure all debit notes has been raised on timely basis
- Assist in reduction of working capital by minimising overdues from customers
- Coordinate with CG for customer related issues
- Maintain and improve all order to cash KPI's

Distributor Claims/Debit notes:

- Regular follow-up with Distributor to send Debit Notes for approved claims.
- Timely updation of debit notes control sheet ( GT / MT / SC / Others)
- Coordinate between CG and BB/CD finance teams to resolve the queries on timely basis.
- Risk to be communicated to business by AP on timely basis
- Get approval for booking of prior year overspends.
- Timely payment/offset of Debit notes
- Periodic SOA Reconciliation with distributor statements.
- Follow and get Debit notes booked which appears in distributors statement but not received
- Support local FBP and CD finance team.
- Provide support for any adhoc requirement from the Business on Analysis of spends against Activity.

TMI/BMI Accounting

- Ensure timely and accurate TMI/BMI/Media accruals are done by CapGemini
- Send analysis for TMI/BMI booking
- Ensure no negative balance in LEVANT AP's
- Support local Business partners by providing information on timely basis.

Debtors Control:

- Accountable for handling receivables independently for Arabia entities.
- This person needs to send statement of account to all customers on timely basis.
- The concerned person should be able to resolve all queries with customers independently and ensure to get payments on timely basis and keep debtors within control.
- He should be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers including CG .
- He / she will be responsible to review all customer accounts on monthly basis and resolve any discrepancy on timely basis.

Distributor Claims/Debit notes:

- Accountable for accounting and settlement of distributor's claim on timely basis.

Internal and External Audit:

- He/she will be responsible for providing the data to auditors to carry out their audit work for receivables and handling all audit issues independently.
- TMI/BMI/Media accounting
- He/She will be responsible for accounting and controlling the TMI/BMI/Media expenses
- Reduction in Working Capital
- Take initiative to reduce the Trade Debtors balances by ensuring timely realisation of customer money.
- MIS for Receivables and overdues:
- He will be responsible for timely circulation of receivables and overdue reports to management

Relevant Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in System operations.
- Two to three years experience in receivables
- Knowledge of SAP
