Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Business Development Manager supports the business long-term strategic goals, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Manages projects, new ventures/deals and overseas execution till delivery to operations
- Overseas franchise performance and collaborates with franchisees and partners to develop the business further according to continuous improvement and expansion plans

Requirements

Networking, Persuasion, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Strong Business Acumen, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Project management, CRM, and Microsoft Office/projects.

BA in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent plus MBA. Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in business development. Knowledge of the F&B market and competitors is a must.
