Job description / Role
Reporting to the Career Development and Staffing Associate Manager
Responsibilities:
• Using Excel, Power BI, G-suite databases and dashboards, manage complex staffing allocation of consulting team staff on project work:
• Develop an understanding of current consultant profiles and skills to aid in optimal allocation of staff to projects
• Communicate with home team staff on project preferences and development needs (initiating discussions on their project preferences, involving mentors when needed etc..).
• Propose staffing allocations by matching available consultants to projects considering various factors (staff personal preferences, staff development needs, project business, needs etc.)
• Support in the staffing allocation of summer interns and business analysts in line with constraints (timing, nature of work, industry preferences etc.)
• Communicate agreed staffing decisions on projects
• Oversee the process of allocation of staff on marketing support and ensure optimal solutions in case of conflicts
Reporting:
• Ensure understanding of staffing reports and processes working with key stakeholders within the business
• Oversee and ensure accurate maintenance of the staffing function reports (Staffing sheet and availability, open needs, newsletter, staff utilization on support work).
• Coordinate with the business operations team to resolve any issues in weekly staffing updates (e.g., lack of adherence to guidelines)
• Staffing reports digitization: identify automation opportunities in staffing reports and support in their implementation
Capability:
• Act as a key liaison to other functional areas of the business and build productive cross-functional relationships especially with Business Operations, Finance and other HC teams
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Candidates must be University Degree educated
• Must have strong data and financial analysis skills
• Candidates must have written and spoken English and Arabic
• Computer proficiency (Advanced Excel using formulas and pivot tables, PowerPoint, G-suite)
• Approachable and diplomatic, multitasks and works well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Sound judgment and objectivity
• 5+ years’ HR analysis experience in the Middle East ideally at a multinational professional services firm
