HR Director - Based in Lebanon

A group of companies based in Lebanon are seeking a strategic level HR Director to lead the function and report to the Board. The role requires extensive travel (up to 6 months a year) to locations across Africa to the company subsidiaries and where the majority of the company population are based.

Description

* Devise manpower plan and manage HR and manpower budget
* Develop recruitment policies ensuring hiring is kept in budget and appropriate to business needs. Handle senior hire recruitment
* Create recruitment SLAs and strategic plan
* Monitor payroll processes to be kept within budgets and handle discrepancies/disputes
* Devise compensation and benefits structure for all locations, obtain relevant salary surveys
* Job analysis and design compensation structure to line with job competencies
* Handle complex employee relation cases and obtain local counsel if required
* Organisational design in line with business objectives
* Devise performance management programme, appraisals and incentive schemes
* Succession planning and career plans for all employees

Job Offer

$8,000 per month based in Lebanon including international medical insurance for self and family as well as education allowance for dependent children

$12,000 for every month spent in Africa. Whilst travelling you will be provided with accommodation, transport, housekeeping and a chef

Requirements

* 15-20 years HR experience, with 6+ years in a senior role
* Ideally a Lebanese national as the role is based in Lebanon
* There will be extensive and long periods of travel to Africa subsidiaries - candidates must be comfortable with this before applying
* Hold a degree and relevant HR qualification
* Proven strategic HR experience and can demonstrate capability in the outlined responsibilities
