Junior IT Data Specialist

Job description / Role

The Junior IT Data Specialist is responsible for applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and building high quality analytics that helps in optimizing efficiency and quality for more accurate decision making.

Key Accountabilities

- Collect, process, cleanse and verify the integrity of data used for analysis to ensure accuracy in the business solutions and quality of reporting data presented to relevant parties.
- Execute algorithms to extract data from data containers, analyze the data and ensure data integrity.
- Design and develop business intelligence reports, relevant to business process areas, to present data in a concise way to diverse audiences.
- Write the documentation of technical implementation and support and maintain the updates of the system.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge

- Bachelor\s Degree in Computer Science or Business Computing
- 0-1 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Database Management System and querying languages; SQL server and/or Oracle
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (QlikView and QlikSense)
- Experience in Statistical Packages such as R, SAS, SPSS is a plus
- Fluency in English
