Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

A large contractor who's head office is based in the UAE is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them to work on a new project they have won in Beirut.

This project is a brand new building project and the client is responsible for the entire building envelope package consisting of steel works, water proofing, GRC works, aluminium and glazing packages.

The successful candidate will report into the Project Director and Commercial Manager. You will have full commercial responsibility and will be the number 1 Quantity Surveyor on the project.

Requirements

Candidates should have 5-10 years post graduation experience and have previously worked for a main contractor or specialist sub-contractor overseeing building facade packages.

You will have previous experience of working in the Middle East.

You will be able to work on your own initiative and be able to make decisions on your own.
