Job Purpose

The Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst is responsible for utilizing data mining methodologies, statistical analysis, and constructing robust systems to enhance efficiency and precision, thereby facilitating improved decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, gather, and document project or process requirements, employing suitable modeling techniques. Conduct thorough analysis of requirements and verify them with stakeholders.
  • Establish testing scripts and verification criteria to validate adherence to requirements. Uphold comprehensive documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct research utilizing primary data sources, selecting pertinent information essential for analyzing key themes and trends.
  • Offer insights and feedback on the appropriateness of database specifications during the approval process, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols, and safeguarding data integrity.
  • Support and contribute to the documentation of both current ("as is") and future ("to be") processes, outlining the necessary changes needed to transition to the desired "to be" state accurately.
  • Gather business requirements through diverse methods including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow examination, translating these requirements into terms aligned with target user roles and objectives.
  • Contribute to and assist in conducting feasibility studies from both technological and organizational standpoints, documenting the findings for reference and analysis.
  • Explore and cultivate a foundational comprehension of external developments or emerging issues, actively participating in evaluating their potential impact on, or relevance to, the organization.
  • Interpret the business requirements and identify solution recommendations for addressing business challenges at the business unit level.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for proposed and ongoing projects, contributing to the formulation and continuous review of business cases.

Language & Technical Skills

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience

Four to six years of experience in Database Administration or a similar role.
