Software Architect - SME

Job description / Role

My client is an end-to-end smart digital services provider, leveraging the deep expertise of its industry consulting, data, and technology teams. Their advanced Digital Services Platform provides customers with the agility they need to fast-track innovation, break down data silos, and implement disruptive technology solutions with confidence. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Software Architect SME to join their team.

As a Software Architecture Subject Matter Expert, you will work with both the Product team and Pre-Sales / Sales teams:

Product Team Interactions will be along with the following activities:

- Develop and deliver a strategic technological software vision and direction in line with product strategy and roadmap.
- Work effectively with the Product Manager and Product Owner to ensure delivery against agreed priorities.
- Provide architectural guidelines to the product software development team to deliver all software components and overall software architecture that meet the product business requirements.
- Ensure consistent delivery with Agile processes.
- Identify the best tools that support product vision efficiently, while ensuring a proper balance between innovation and feasibility to build the product's new features.

Sales / Pre-Sales Team Interactions will be along with the following activities:

- Support Pre-Sales Team in terms of formulating custom solutions and proposal content at various stages of the pre-sales pipeline.
- Support Sales / Pre-Sales Team in select customer workshops.
- Interface with relevant Vendors in order to evaluate their fit towards specific solution requirements, and their product offering and pricing structure.

Requirements

Requirements:

- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to learn and ramp up quickly on emerging technologies is an essential requirement.
- Strong communication skills both internally and customer-facing.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
