General Services Supervisor

Job description / Role

The role is to manage and oversee security operations/protocols in order to protect the facilities as well as all company assets and staff.

- Provide protection to all staff, buildings and properties according to security protocols.
- Keep the premises free from all kinds of dangers.
- Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other risks.
- Oversee and coordinate staff security operations through all areas.
- Plan and respond to emergencies and security alerts.
- Screen visitors before allowing them to enter the premises.
- Train and schedule programs for security staff and delegate tasks to increase performance.
- Evaluate, assess and analyse performance of security staff.
- Initiate disciplinary measures related to security protocols wherever necessary.
- Maintain all security devices and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures.
- Cooperate with the IT staff for all related equipment in the security field.
- Create reports on related activities and performance as well as report on incidents and security breaches.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a security field or similar role.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Experience in using security technology and surveillance equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency English and Arabic languages.
- Supervisory and organizational skills.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and available outside business hours.
- Hardworking attitude and good coordination ability.
- Confident, reliable and ability to work independently.
- Stamina to carry physical requirements.
- Computer skills (familiar with Microsoft office programs).
