Instrument Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Libya. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of industrial instruments and control systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the maintenance and smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and documentation for instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and calibration data.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks.

- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Technical diploma or certification in instrumentation, electronics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, DCS, and other related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
