Piping Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to join our team in Libya. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of piping systems in various industrial facilities. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing piping systems in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Preparing detailed engineering drawings, material specifications, and cost estimates for piping installations.
- Coordinating with project managers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of piping materials and equipment.
- Conducting site inspections and quality control assessments to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to piping systems, including identifying and implementing corrective measures.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams as required.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in piping design, installation, and maintenance within the industrial sector.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools for designing and drafting piping systems.
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards related to piping design and installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage project timelines and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Professional certification or licensure as a Piping Engineer will be an advantage.
