Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently working with a leading multinational construction organisation as they require a Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of a 220m Euro commercial project in Luxembourg City on a 3 year contract.

Key responsibilities:

- To manage and oversee the setup of commercial systems and documentation for new managed service contracts from the point of tender award to go-live.
- To liaise with managers in the construction and implementation of appropriate contract documentation to support proposals made by Sales or Commercial Services to customers on behalf of the organisation.
- To manage contract issues and adverse financial trends escalated from the managed services Administration team, investigate variance and provide solutions for closing gaps to the satisfaction of all parties.
- To highlight and escalate any identified deviations from agreed commercial policies and guidelines.
- To be capable of drafting standard contract documents such as non-disclosure agreements, change control documents, framework schedules.
- Undertake all aspects of contract evaluation and governance including review, validation and sign-off of annual renewals.
- To be capable of negotiating with third parties and customers on any contractual document to get to an agreed position that meets the commercial, compliance and business requirements.
- To provide contract management expertise and to assist in development of sound commercial processes that meet corporate/business areas goals and metrics.
- To use contract and finance structures in compliance with business objectives.
- Establish effective stakeholder management both internally and externally.

Salary:
EUR 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant related degree.
- Extensive experience in construction and engineering with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role in large scale
projects.
- Excellent knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract.
- Excellent English and local language skills; both oral and written.
- Specialisation and good knowledge in Construction Law.
