Employment: Full Time

An opportunity to join a very large multinational business as Head of Legal (Southeast Asia). Overseeing a large operation across SEA, you will be responsible for managing multiple subsidiaries of the group across various jurisdictions. You will report to and advise the local Managing Director, whilst working closely with the legal team in the UAE.

The diverse portfolio of the business includes operations in Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Automobiles, Personal Care, Healthcare, Electronics and many others. You will be managing a small team with the aim of improving the current Corporate Legal Strategy and operations. The challenge will be to implement this across the group in the SEA region.

Requirements

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you will require regional experience, ideally from Malaysia/Indonesia. Plus a minimum of 10 years as a qualified lawyer with proven experience working as the most senior individual of a large operation. Experience of working for a business with a wide range of subsidiaries in various industries is crucial (Family Groups/Holding Companies/Large MNC's).
