Job description / Role
We are looking for mid-level PHP Software Developers, with minimum 3 years of experience:
Responsibilities
- Good logical thinking
- Document user-requirements and data flow diagrams
- Develop web-based administrative applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Integration with PostgreSQL database
Requirements
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks including but not limited to CodeIgniter and Symfony
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, their declarative query languages and stored procedures
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Subversion and Git
- At least 3 years of experience building commercial applications in PHP
