Job description / Role
Rail Section / Project Manager - Malaysia - Up to US$15k per month
The Highfield Company are currently assisting a major construction contractor in South East Asia with their search for a team of Rail Section Managers to project manage a section of newly awarded rail works in Malaysia.
Our client has been awarded rail construction works totalling 200km including viaduct, at grade construction, underpasses and stations. The project will then be broken down into five sections of approximately 40km each, we are therefore looking for the Section Managers to take overall responsibility for one of the five sections.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
* Over 15 years of major infrastructure project experience.
* Experience of delivering rail projects as Project / Section Manager.
* Heavy civil structural experience and / or earthworks exposure.
* Regional experience is a bonus.
* Hands on construction experience and knowledge.
* A commercial awareness of major projects.
* Any experience working with Chinese construction partners will be advantageous.
Our client is willing to pay up to US$13k per month tax free + accommodation + flights + insurance for successful applicants and the position is available immediately.
