The opportunity
Project: This is a 5-star island development comprising luxury beach and water villas. Mace is providing project management in all facets of the project activities to deliver the project to meet cost, time and quality requirements.
This role will be working on a rotation basis of 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Mace is looking for a full-time assistant logistics manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing all day to today logistics activities on site, making sure contractors follow the overall logistics strategy/plan
• Ensuring all equipment is inspected maintained, and tested to agreed frequencies
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of onsite logistics coordinators, logistics supervisors, duty access managers and site access traffic and security operatives.
• Coordinating with the construction teams to understand their programmes, ensuring vehicle movements are managed efficiently, in line with the construction sequence and without congestion around access gates or on-site.
• Attending on-site daily briefing
• Ensuring arrival jetty/marina operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with overall logistics plan processes and procedures.

• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and work collaboratively with our dynamic, motivated teams.
• We envisage you will bring experience from a consultancy background having worked on high-end luxury hotels and be comfortable working on a rotational basis.
