Construction Manager - Island Hotels Project
The opportunity

Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.
The role
Construction Manager - Island Hotels Project
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reporting to the project director.
• Managing the construction delivery, with particular attention to the high-end finishes of this hospitality/residential project.
• Ensuring safety and quality management which are core values of Mace and our client.
• Understanding and fully implement project procedures for all contractors.
• Setting up clear lines of communication with consultants and contractors to address shortfalls and issues that may arise in a timely manner.
• Providing advice to project teams on planned logistics arrangements and contractual matters.
• Reviewing and accepting related project delivery plans submitted by contractors.
• Preparing reports, reviewing programme and progress and considering mitigation measures.
• Managing and chairing meetings with the contractor and client as well as design consultants.
Requirements
The requirements
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
• Hotel/hospitality and residential project experience.
• International or island environment project delivery experience.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Local language skills is beneficial.
• Must be willing to travel to support any off site inspections.
Qualifications
• A degree qualification in construction subject.
• With professional memberships.
