Senior Architect

Job description / Role

Contribution and Technical Excellence:
• Deliver architectural designs and documentation that uphold HARIM’s commitment to luxury, innovation, sustainability, and client excellence.
• Ensure every project reflects HARIM’s client-facing values of design excellence, environmental integrity, and futureforward thinking, while upholding internal values of team trust, ownership, service excellence, open dialogue, and a culture of learning.
• Work collaboratively with the Project Management team, Senior Management, and Finance team to support revenue optimisation, cost-effective resource utilisation, and timely project delivery aligned with financial and operational targets.

Design Development and Technical Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and well-coordinated architectural designs, technical drawings, and documentation using relevant software.
• Ensure all designs and outputs comply with applicable local and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining HARIM’s quality benchmarks.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation with strict version control to ensure design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in regular coordination meetings and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure completeness, clarity, and alignment of all architectural outputs with overall design intent.
• Contribute to internal and external stakeholder communications through accurate and clear technical input and reporting.

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with engineers, draughtspersons, consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment across all design and construction stages.
• Participate in the full project cycle: from conceptualisation through to construction administration and close-out, adapting to evolving project needs.
• Assist in reviewing submittals, resolving requests for information, and contributing to construction documentation with timely and responsive updates.

Site Engagement and Real-World Integration:
• Conduct site visits as necessary to collect data, observe real-time implementation, and ensure integration between drawing intent and construction reality.
• Support resolution of design-related issues during execution with clarity, professionalism, and solution-oriented input.

Leadership in Design Values and Standards:
• Contribute to HARIM’s design leadership by demonstrating a deep understanding of architectural best practices, construction methodologies, and the integration of sustainable and innovative design principles.
• Engage with evolving design tools and methodologies that support efficiency, environmental responsiveness, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Support the advancement of a collaborative design culture that encourages creative thinking, technical rigour, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Proven experience as an architect in the construction industry with solid MEP knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, 2D and 3D or other similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Good understanding of design principles, building codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attititude and a great team player

Salary:
USD 1,800 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: food and acommodation allowance plus medical insurance
