Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
- To manage and oversee the company's operations, resources and assets located in the region.

Main responsibilities:
- Oversee all company resources and assets.
- Ensure objectives of the senior management are met.
- Report back to the board of directors.
- Manage, supervise, and control the day-to-day business.
- Strategic planning.
- Assign performance goals and assure completion.
- Meet with managers to discuss continuous improvements.
- Develop new business to ensure expansion.
- Deal with all local company matters such as with local govt.
- Reporting to: Board of Directors
- Subordinates: Managers
- Duration: Permanent position
- Desired start date: ASAP
- Gross monthly base salary: USD 5000
- Other Benefits: Apartment & Transport Provided

Salary:
USD 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Apartment, Transport, Medical insurance & Flights provided

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced General Manager with experience in the marine industry to take up a role as General Manager with regional responsibilities to oversee the company's operations, assets and resources located in the region. The general manager should have the following experience:

- Experience in the maritime industry
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA or similar from a business school
- Previous experience in a General Manager position or similar with P&L experience
- At least 10 years of experience

This position is located in a remote location.
