Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Extensive client interface
• Conducts client meetings, gather business information and document information as it relates to programming, corporate office space planning, and schematic design development
• Ability to analyze business information, prepare programming documentation and report to client and Colliers Project Director in charge of account
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts and long hours when necessary. Must be willing to travel when needed

Requirements

• Two to three years’ experience within the real estate or related industry
• Bachelors’ Degree with 7 - 10 years of experience in Design related field
• Extensive experience with commercial interior design and/or corporate occupancy planning
• Extensive knowledge of data collection and programming

Special Requirements:
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and space allocation plans
• Ability to create space allocation plans and stack plans
• Ability to create PowerPoint presentations for Leadership
• Ability to convey confidence among/across project team and client teams
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to present to client groups (approx. 10 – 75 in size)
• Strong communication and verbal presentation skills with project team and client contact a must
• Must be methodical, analytical and well-organized
• Must be innovative, detail-oriented and confident
• Must be a team builder
• Must be able to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to handle stress and customer support issues
• Ability to direct other team members and maintain team spirit
• Strong leadership abilities
• Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills
• Strong computer aptitude
• Working knowledge of: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access or equivalent Power Point Bluebeam Autocad or equivalent CAFM Software
• Due to the nature of the business, staff must possess the ability and willingness to work at any level as work and contract obligations require
• Job responsibilities may differ from project to project based on project complexity and job size
• All staff must understand that they may serve in various roles and levels at different times as the project progresses and workloads demand
