Construction Director

Our client is an international construction company operating in the Asian market, specializing in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects. They also conduct building projects which range from schools to large scale leisure complexes. They are currently looking for a Construction Director to join them on a Bridge Project in Australia.

You will be Responsible for:
- Supervising the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources.
- Accomplish all tasks and milestones.
- Deputising for the GM in her / his absence.
- Ensuring health and safety is met on-site.
- Providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
- Defining jointly with the project controls department, all project plan documents, including the scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization.
- Overseeing project identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks.
- Capturing, evaluating, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project.
- Ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed along with driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgment by the customer.
- Coordinating with supply chain management.
- Acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
