JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Purpose: To be able to provide reports as required by Management and assist the Finance Manager in accounts reconciliations and support other Departments on queries to carry on with their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares weekly cash flow and submits to Finance Manager
- Reconcile all the supplier invoices with issued purchase orders
- Assist the Finance Manager in monthly closing of FS (process general JVs)
- Daily posting of bank transactions and reconcile them in Xero with all supporting documentation
- Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Perform asset tagging and maintain company assets register
- Perform annual fixed assets inventory
- Assist in Ad hoc reporting that is required by Management
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years general accounting
- Capable of producing presentable reports independently as required by Management
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be proficient in Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and accounting programs
- Excellent communication skills and attention to details
- Systematic in handling/filing documents
- Must have an analytical mind and capable to work under pressure
