JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join our team in Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within your designated area, developing strong relationships with clients, and ensuring that our products are well-represented in the market.
As an integral part of our sales team, you will contribute to our growth in the FMCG sector by identifying new business opportunities and executing strategies to increase market share. If you are passionate about sales and have a proven track record in the FMCG industry, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, monitor competitor activities, and gather market intelligence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase market penetration.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and optimize product placement in retail outlets.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and prospects.
- Provide training and support to retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and products.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Sales Executive or similar role in the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive results.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area and attend events as needed.
