JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Fiberglass Supervisor at the Boat Factory is responsible for overseeing the production and application of fiberglass materials used in boat manufacturing. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of fiberglass applications, and a commitment to delivering high-quality marine products.
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the fiberglass production team within the boat manufacturing facility.
- Monitor the application of fiberglass materials to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas and production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and mentor team members on fiberglass production techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with management to develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality control data, and safety incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project completion.
- Implement and promote best practices for fiberglass handling, storage, and application in boat manufacturing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in manufacturing, materials science, or a related field is preferred.- Strong experience in Boats/Fiberglass.
- Job is based in Bahrain, so for candidates outside the kingdom, they will need a relocation.
