JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Works with management and external consultants in preparation and review of Constructions agreements and contracts;
- Coordinate and control the total construction works serving as the single point of contact between the company and the contractors;
- Responsible for planning and monitoring of different activities at site at macro and micro level to drive the construction process to successful completion as per set quality, time and budget.
- Manage and coordinate with the relevant authorities for necessary approvals and maintain in going relationships.
- Ensure health and safety policy is being implemented on site.
- Organise, coordinate and facilitate value engineering workshops for the projects;
- At design stage review design and advice on construction methodologies for optimising time and cost on the projects;
- Schedule, coordinate and conduct periodic weekly /monthly project review meetings
- Ability to use specialized project management software such as MS Project, Primavera
REQUIREMENTS
- University Qualifications: BSc in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
- Nature and length of previous experience: At least 7 years of experience in managing construction projects.
- Familiar with construction program software like primavera and/or MS Project
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Leadership skills, Proactive, Problem Solver
