Job Description
The key objective of the position will be to support the execution of the hotel's digital marketing and e-commerce strategy including but not limited to content updates, social media management, and email marketing. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing.
- Assist the Director of Marketing in developing initiatives for the hotel key feeder markets to increase traffic on direct channels.
- Manage the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
- Update and optimize the hotel content on direct, indirect channels and online listings.
- Organization of PR events, dealing with media and influencers when required.
- Manage the active presence of the property on social media channels.
- Monitor and optimize traffic acquisition levers at hotel level including but not limited to SEO, display, paid social, and metasearch.
- Support the execution of the emailing calendar for rooms, F&B and other outlets in line with the strategy and corporate guidelines.
- Provide creative ideas and best practices for content marketing and social media.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reports on digital performance.
- Manage digital paid campaigns on Meta and OTAs.
- Act as e-commerce leader for the hotel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in a similar position.
- Copywriting skills.
- Good sense of aesthetic.
- Passion for hospitality, going above and beyond to create memorable moments for our guests.
- Creation and implementation of social media calendar.
- Experience dealing with influencers and able to prepare an influencer strategy.
- Experience with Facebook Ads Manager.
- Absolute comfort with social media channels, including paid ads.
- Customer oriented and able to properly interact with our customers on any public channel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the English and Arabic language, able to write flawlessly.
- Familiar with Adobe Package.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them.
- Ability to work independently, but also function as a team player, in order to meet internal deadlines.
- Capable of working in a dynamic environment, handling multiple projects, able to prioritize appropriately and respond to issues quickly and creatively with an open and positive attitude.
