One of the region's largest steel producers is in need of a General Manager. This is a large reputable company that offers many benefits and will continue to grow.

The General Manager directs all commercial manufacturing activities. This position manages the resources, equipment and daily operations activities of the manufacturing plant to ensure that production requirements are met on target.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the planning and managing the use of labor resources, equipment and daily operations activities for a multiple shift, manufacturing plant to meet planned production requirements.
- Ensuring the proper planning required to manufacture the right mix of products, in the correct quantity to support commercial demand from the plant.
- Accountable to create and execute a financial plan for manufacturing and support operations.
- Ensures adherence to cGMP's, standard operating procedures, safety practices and manufacturing protocols. Ensures the safety of all Manufacturing Operations employees through compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring that long range training and development systems of control are in place to meet future objectives of the business. Participates in Talent Management, succession planning, and talent acquisition of Operations positions and talent.
